As part of the measures taken to ensure the best possible reception of members of the Algerian national community upon their arrival in Algeria during the 2026 summer season, and in accordance with the directives of the High Authorities of the country, the Embassy of Algeria in Nairobi informs all members of the Algerian community residing in the Republic of Kenya that the Algerian Directorate General of Customs has made available a series of informational brochures and awareness videos in Arabic, English and French.
These informational materials are intended to provide travelers with the necessary guidance and facilitate the completion of customs formalities, particularly with regard to:
Declaration of foreign and national currencies, as well as valuable items, upon entry into and exit from the national territory;
Declaration of personal effects and baggage;
Subscription to the Customs Transit Permit (TPD) for vehicles.
